Xochitl Gonzalez's New York Times bestselling debut novel, Olga Dies Dreaming, was named a Best of 2022 by TIME, Boston Globe, Vogue, Bustle, and more. She received her M.F.A. from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow and the recipient of the Michener-Copernicus Fellowship for Fiction. A screenwriter and cultural critic, Gonzalez is executive producing the TV adaptation of her novel. She lives in her hometown of Brooklyn.
